We are delighted to return to Chatsworth in this Olympic year and will again welcome some of the UK's top agility dogs to two days of fantastic competitions. Situated in the shadow of the house it is a perfect place to meet family and friends and to plan your day at the Country Fair.
We are pleased to welcome Alpha Feeds back for the 5th year running as our premier sponsors. A family owned business, based in Retford, North Nottinghamshire, they produce a range of top quality food for all working, sporting and racing breeds. For more information about Alpha Feeds please come and see us at the Agility ring.
Today the UK continues to set world Agility standards and dogs compete at Agility as far afield as New Zealand, America and Singapore and last July the British team excelled at The European Open held at Kristianstad, Sweden.
With specially designed equipment you should look out for some of the more unusual obstacles such as the brush fence or even a water jump! Agiilty judges indicate faults
by raising their arms. The large contact pieces of equipment have special areas that
the dog must touch to proceed without fault, and all of this is against the clock - measured to 100/th of a second.
For the 18th year running Beacon Agility Dog Training Club are once again your hosts for this year's competitions. With competitive Agility events held countrywide the club holds regular classes throughout the year with some of the UK's top Agility partnerships training at the club. If you would like to find out more about the club please come and see us at the Country Fair.
Alpha Feeds - 1st for performance and 1st for success - wish all Agility competitors good luck and a fantastic time at Chatsworth Country Fair.
