Scurry and Trials Driving
Grand Ring, twice on Friday and Saturday, once on Sunday

Supported by Dudley Wheatcroft of ADW Media

Exciting, fast, skilful and colourful entertainment for all the family, scurry driving requires a pair of ponies being driven at speed and against the clock through a course of ‘gates’ and driving trials like obstacles. If a ball is dislodged from one of the gate cones then there are time penalties to add to the total score.Easy to follow, easy to understand and appreciated by people of all ages including those who have no working knowledge of horses.Always a crowd pleaser and a sport in which we encourage the spectators to shout and cheer for their personal favourites!

British Scurry and Trials Driving are organising the Grand Ring event at Chatsworth, and some of their teams have competed abroad, representing the UK in Scurry Driving. Some of these drivers of International experience have become household names along with their international pony pairs. The picture above is of Jenny Mountain driving Song and Dance at Chatsworth last year..
