If the weather is good, every year we host a spectacular balloon lift early in the morning and again at dusk. After Bristol, Chatsworth is now the second largest event on the ballooning calendar in the UK with over 40 balloons attending this year.
We hope to inflate one or two in the Grand Ring every evening immediately after the closing ceremony, accompanied by an interesting commentary about balloons and ballooning in general. It is a rare chance to get close and see how it all works, so do stay and watch. The picture below was taken in 2008.
